09 - 10 November 2016 - The Yunus Center, the Kasetsart University team composed of Associate Professor Dr. Sasivimol Meeampol, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration; Associate Professor Dr. Bordin Rassameethes, Former Dean and Former Vice-President of KU; Dr. Yodmanee Tepanon, Assistant Dean for Quality Assurance attended the Social Business Academia Conference 2016 held at the HEC Paris School of Management Campus in Jouy-en-Josas, Paris, France. The conference was organized and sponsored by Yunus Centre and HEC Paris. The purpose of the conference is to create a networking opportunity for academicians, researchers, practitioners, and development activists where they can discuss recent insights and innovations on Social Business. Collectively paper-writers reflected on the challenges and opportunities that social businesses face as they try to take on the most complicated human problems in countries around the world. Associate Professor Dr. Bordin Rassameethes, Former Dean and Former Vice-President of KU, introduced the Yunus Center, Kasetsart University as an avenue for promoting Professor Yunus’ vision of alleviating poverty by implementing the concept of Social Business.
